The Latin Mass Society of Ireland - (Elphin and Achonry Dioceses)

The Church has always permitted different styles of worship and through the centuries there have been many varieties of ways of celebrating Mass.

For centuries the Tridentine Mass was the norm among Roman Catholics and among the faithful there have always been people for whom the traditional form of celebrating Mass was and remains an expression of the unity of God's varied people and nations.

Such members of the faithful, some of whom are members of The Latin Mass Society of Ireland , experience also in this style of liturgy, its outward ceremonies and language, a link with the past and with the saints of all times and all places.
