Support and Counselling
The Diocese of Elphin recognises the support needs of Survivors and alleged Perpetrators of abuse. It will introduce these persons to a Support Person in the case of the Survivor and an Adviser in the case of an alleged Perpetrator. Support Persons and Advisers have a pastoral role, part of which involves assisting and facilitating people access information, counselling and professional help.
If you are a survivor of abuse please know that you will find a listening and compassionate response from the Diocese of Elphin. The Diocese will respond to your concern in a professional and caring manner. Please contact anyone of the following if you have concerns in this area.
