Late August / early September is a time when many people’begin again’. It marks the beginning of the new school year and the resumption of a suite of parish and other voluntary activities – cultural, sporting, educational and pastoral.
This retreat day has been organised at the request of some Parish Pastoral Council members throughout the Elphin diocese. As well as offering Parish Pastoral Council members an opportunity to come together in a spirit of prayer and friendship, it is open to all parish volunteers who would welcome a a short time of renewal and of drawing close to God before re-engaging in pastoral and other church commitments.
If you have never participated in an Adult Retreat Day please ‘come and see’. It’s worth the effort and forward planning and we (the team) look forward to welcoming everyone.
The nature of the day will be relaxed and encouraging and there will be a lovely blend of input, conversation, reflection and prayer.
