Bishop Kevin announces additional Diocesan Appointments
Bishop Kevin has announced the following Diocesan Appointments in addition to appointments announced on 6th June 2017 (See below).
Fr. Francis Glennon PP Oran, to resign as Parish Priest of Oran and to take up residence at the Presbytery, Castlecoote (Effective August 15th)
Fr. Irek Kuzmicki CC Sacred Heart Parish, Roscommon to be PP Oran (Effective August 15th)
Fr. Pravin Dhason (Diocese of Kottar, Tamil Nadu, India) to be CC Sacred Heart Parish, Roscommon (Effective July 31st)
Fr. Alan Conway PP Aughanagh (Ballinafad) to be PP Croghan (Effective 31st July)
Fr. Julian Lupot CC St. Mary’s Sligo to be Administrator, Aughanagh (Ballinafad) (Effective 31st July)
Fr. Yashin Jos (SDB, Bangalore Province, India) to be CC St. Mary’s (Effective 31st July)
Fr. Victor Samugana (MSP – Missionaries of St. Paul of Nigeria) to be CC St. Mary’s, Sligo (Effective 31st July)
In announcing the appointments Bishop Kevin said: “I wish to express my appreciation to all the priests concerned in this year’s moves for the spirit of faith and generosity with which they have accepted the call. Change is challenging, both for priests and for parishioners. I ask all the people of the Diocese to pray especially for those who are “on the move” this Summer that they, and those whom they serve, may be richly blessed as they prepare to take up their new appointments.”

Bishop Kevin Doran has announced the following diocesan appointments:
Fr Innocentes (Tito) Abuda CC (Rosses Point) to be CC in Boyle (30th June)
Fr. Michael Drumm (currently on sabbatical leave) to be PP of Rosses Point and to work in Adult Faith Formation (31st July)
Fr. Dónal Morris Adm. (Loughglynn) to be allocated a short period of sabbatical leave (30th June)
Canon Liam Devine PP VG (Athlone) to be PP of Loughglynn (30th June)
Fr. Martin Mulvaney PP (Croghan) to be PP of Saints Peter and Paul, Athlone (30th June)
Further appointments will be announced at the beginning of July.
