Bishop Kevin presents Dorothy O’Dowd and Paul Coyle with their World Meeting of Families 2018 “A Wedding Gift” certificate after they celebrated the Sacrament of Marriage at the Parish Church in Lourdes on 29th August 2017. Included in the photo are Dorothy’s sister Brigid O’Dowd, Lauren Giblin who read the Scripture reading and Ann & Oliver Feeney who were married in Lourdes some years ago. The celebrant was Fr Eamonn O’Connor PP Strokestown.
During this year of preparation for the World Meeting of Families 2018, all couples who celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage will receive this commemorative certificate. Parishes will begin to receive these certificates over the coming weeks. To learn more about the World Meeting, visit their website www.worldmeeting2018.ie
