Elphin Youth and Young Adult Ministry shares in the overall mission of the Catholic Diocese of Elphin to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In collaboration with families, schools and parishes we have a specific focus on proclaiming the Gospel to every generation of youth and young adults in our diocese. The heart of everything we do is a response to Pope Francis’ invitation to “a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ”. (Joy of the Gospel, 3) Therefore our focus is always to encourage our youth and young adults to experience this personal encounter and experience the full joy of the Gospel as intended by Jesus Christ.
