Celebrations in the Diocese of Elphin for the opening of the World Meeting of Families 2018 on Tuesday 21st August

Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo at 7.00pm 
Bishop Kevin welcomes Bishop Ferran Glenfield, Bishop of Kilmore, Elphin and Ardagh, who will preach the homily.  Music by Sligo Cathedral Choir, under the direction of Charles O’Connor.  

Church of the Sacred Heart, Roscommon at 10.00am (Mass)

Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception at 7.00pm

Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Derrane at 7.00pm

SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Athlone at 7.00pm

Church of the Risen Christ, Kiltoom at 7.00pm

St Brigid’s Church, Curraghboy at 7.00pm

St Mary’s Church, Kilbegnet at 7.00pm

St Joseph’s Church, Boyle at 7.30pm (Family Mass)

Church of the Good Shepherd, Tisrara at 7.30pm

Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strokestown at 8.00pm

St Joseph’s Church, Geevagh at 8.00pm

St Brigid’s Church, Four-Mile-House at 9.00pm

All churches throughout the diocese will ring their bells 7.00pm to mark the opening of this great event!
