INTRODUCTION

Are you familiar with the expression ‘Season of Creation’ but uncertain as to what it is about or what it has to do with you?  For the fifth consecutive year  the Universal Church will mark the Season of Creation from Wednesday 1^st September to Monday 4^th October.   You probably know that it is connected with the great ecological challenge facing humanity but what is it exactly’?  What ’s the background to it and the rationale underpinning it?  Why do Pope Francis and many other Church leaders urge individuals, families and parish communities to become involved and to make it their own?  What does it ask of us? 

Please join us and other people of goodwill via Zoom on the eve of the season for a briefing session that will respond to the above and other important questions.
